Excellent - Like new, no flaws to note.
Very Good - Worn with minimal notable flaws, if any.
Good - Visible wear, noted minor flaws may require light repair.
Fair - Numerous noted flaws, needs repair.

Size Guide

Because vintage sizes are different from modern sizes it is important to refer to this sizing guide to ensure that your garment will fit.

We provide detailed measurements of the garment with an approximate equivalent to modern sizes but please check the dimensions carefully against one of your own garments for the correct fit.

To measure your garment lay it flat and measure as shown below and double this.

Length Measured from top of garment to the hem of garment Bust Measured from armpit to armpit with additional inches added only if fabric allows Waist Measured from waistline, if there is no exact waistline the measurements are taken where a waist would approximately be Hips Measured where hips would approximately be (usually 7" below waist) Shoulders Measured from shoulder seam to shoulder seam Sleeves Measured from shoulder seam to end of sleeves. If there is no shoulder seam sleeves are measured from neckline to hem of sleeves

Please note that the dimensions shown are the actual garment dimensions and not necessarily the dimensions of the body that it will fit. For shirts and jackets for instance, you need to allow some room for movement (e.g. a shirt with chest dimensions of 42 inches will fit a 38 inch chest – **see conversion tables below).

Please Note: Some of our items will be marked with two sizes (XS/Small or Small/Medium) because the fabric will allow more breathing room. So the while measurements un-stretched are an XS, it could fit a Small because of the material or elastic in the garment.
